Beach Hut Garland
This garland has
four beach
huts in off-white cotton fabrics decorated with red and blue
stripes and stars. The doors are made from contrasting starry red,
blue and cream fabrics are are decorated with running stitch.
Each hut features a rusty tin star above the door way and two of the huts have a tiny seagull sitting on their roofs
(see close-up below). The huts are strung together with jute twine and wooden
beads with a loop at either end to hang it up. A homespun padded heart
sits in the middle of the garland
with a patch stitched onto it saying "Oh I do like to be beside
the seaside" (see close-up below).
